1. Our Operational Model & Artist Tiers

What is the business model of Ghost Rocket Music?

Ghost Rocket Music is an independent artist development and management firm. We provide independent creators with the structural support, marketing infrastructure, and promotional power typically reserved for major label rosters, all while allowing you to remain fully independent.

What are the three artist development tiers under SkyRocket Records?

We structure our label partnerships into three distinct development phases:

  • Level 1 (Ground-Up Tier): For emerging artists establishing their initial digital footprint. Artists fund their direct promotional budgets while utilizing our campaign blueprints.

  • Level 2 (Co-Investment Tier): Our primary partnership program. Ghost Rocket Music matches the artist's marketing budget dollar-for-dollar by absorbing all operational costs and pitching labor. We work alongside you to scale your baseline metrics.

  • Level 3 (Fully Funded Tier): Reserved for advanced catalog development. Ghost Rocket Music fully funds or co-funds major releases and actively coordinates major distribution pathways through partnerships like Symphonic Distribution.

Who owns the music and controls distribution?

You do. SkyRocket Records does not take your master rights, publishing equity, or intellectual property for Level 1 and Level 2 promotional campaigns. You upload your music through your chosen independent distributor (DistroKid, TuneCore, etc.), keeping you in total control of your catalog and career.

2. Platform Compliance & Anti-Fraud Security

How do you protect my music from artificial streaming flags or bot farms?

Our Zero-Tolerance Policy: We are 100% compliant with the official developer and distributor guidelines regarding artificial streaming. We strictly prohibit the use of bot farms, click farms, or deceptive play manipulation. We do not buy streams; we manage organic, real-world discovery campaigns to protect your artist profile from platform penalties or catalog takedowns.

Do you guarantee stream counts?

Because our methodology relies entirely on authentic listener behavior, algorithmic traction, and independent human curation, we do not sell or guarantee exact stream counts. Any company promising a guaranteed, static number of plays is likely deploying automated fraud. The numbers we share are strictly historical performance benchmarks and average milestone ranges achieved across previous compliant campaigns:

Campaign Tier Monthly Target Baseline 3-Month Projected Target 6-Month Projected Target

Bronze Tier ($145/mo)~3,500+ streams~10,500 streams~21,000 streams

Silver Tier ($245/mo)~6,000+ streams~18,000 streams~36,000 streams

Gold Tier ($495/mo)~12,000+ streams~36,000 streams~72,000 streams

What am I paying for in a "Dollar-for-Dollar" match?

Your promotional investment goes entirely toward targeted marketing outreach, platform optimization, and demographic pitch placement. SkyRocket Records matches your spend by waiving all internal project management fees, campaign setup charges, and ongoing pitching labor hours—effectively doubling the operational footprint of your budget.

Why is there a 3-month campaign minimum?

Recommendation algorithms require a baseline of clean, continuous data to map your ideal target listener profile. It takes roughly 90 days of continuous organic pitching to trigger sustainable algorithmic impressions (such as Discover Weekly or Radio). Shorter campaigns fail to give the system enough time to adapt and learn your music.

3. Financial Structures & Performance Fees

How does the backend performance fee work?

To keep our team completely aligned with your real growth, we operate on an artist-friendly performance structure: a flat administrative fee of $9.00 per 10,000 streams generated during the active campaign cycle. Crucially, if a release does not hit the initial 10,000-stream baseline, this fee is completely waived. We continue optimizing your track at no extra cost until that milestone is cleared.

Why use a flat fee instead of a traditional royalty split?

Traditional record labels routinely claim 50% to 80% of an artist's master royalties from stream one. By replacing percentage splits with a flat, predictable fee tied exclusively to volume milestones, we ensure that the vast majority of your streaming revenue remains securely in your independent hands.

The Math: Streaming platforms pay an average global royalty rate of $0.003 to $0.005 per stream. On a conservative baseline of $0.003, a block of 10,000 streams yields approximately $30.00 in gross revenue. Our performance fee represents just $9.00 of that block, allowing you to maximize your catalog's equity while safely scaling your audience.

4. Onboarding, Tracking & Expectations

What assets do I need to submit to launch my campaign?

Once onboarding is complete, you will submit your release data via our secure dashboard:

  1. Contact Details & Artist Moniker

  2. Single Title

  3. Private Preview Link (or Spotify URI for unreleased tracks)

  4. Your Scheduled Release Date

Why do you require "Viewer" access to my Spotify for Artists?

We request Viewer-level access only, which gives us absolutely no administrative control and zero ability to change your profile settings. It simply allows our marketing team to monitor real-time data panels to verify the traffic quality, observe your save-to-stream ratios, and shift budget allocations toward the regions reacting to your music the fastest.

I haven’t seen an immediate spike in plays. Is this normal?

Yes. Authentic, organic campaigns build momentum over time. Because we reject artificial shortcuts or fake playlist placements, it takes time to manually pitch to real curators, clear review boards, and build organic listener velocity. We track the health of a campaign by its long-term algorithmic stability, not temporary, overnight spikes.

5. Applications & Policy Frameworks

Can I submit a demo directly via email?

To maintain an efficient review workflow, our A&R team does not accept unsolicited audio attachments or streaming links via direct email. All submissions must go through our formal application portal.

Can we schedule a 1-on-1 introductory call?

To protect our team's operational hours and ensure maximum time is spent moving active campaigns forward, we do not host ad-hoc 1-on-1 introductory calls. Instead, we host live informational group sessions via Zoom every week. Once your application is submitted, our team will automatically send you the access link and calendar invite for the next upcoming session.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Because outreach budgets are committed directly to active advertising lines and campaign assets upon track approval, active campaigns are non-refundable.
